Archbishop Coleman Carroll High School in Southwest Miami-Dade, Florida and has an opening for a Full-time Science Teacher for the upcoming 2024-25 school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy, and/or Robotics. This person must be supportive and respectful of the mission, vision, and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church and performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.

The school seeks to hire and retain employees who are skilled in their field, desiring to work in a Christ-Centered environment and support the school’s mission. Applicants should have the ability to relate to and work well with others, possess excellent writing, communication, organizational and leadership skills. Salary is commensurate with degrees and experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science; Master’s degree in Science preferred.
  • State of Florida Department of Education certification in science, grades 6-12.
  • At least one year’s experience in teaching at a high school level preferred.
